Vintage Dutch Droste chocolates can.
Ohhh, the goodies this little can held :)
The can depicts the windmill, cows and the skutsje sailing boats. An interesting fact is that the can also depicts
a heard of sheep where the landscape suggests hills in the distance where there are absolutely no hills around
Haarlem, the city where Droste chocolates was founded by Mr Geraldus Johannes Droste in 1863.
As of today, Droste Chocolates are still manufactured and are considered some of the best chocolates around
This can shows signs of wear, faded paint and some little rust spots as you would expect
from a vintage used tin can. Unfortunately, somebody ate the chocolates a long time ago so the can is empty :)
